Mediware’s Respiratory Division
Mediware’s rehabilitation and respiratory division is backed by more than 25 years of experience and expertise. In December 2012, Mediware Information Systems, Inc., a provider of comprehensive healthcare IT software solutions, acquired MediServe. The rehabilitation unit still operates in Chandler, AZ. The merger will expand Mediware’s ‘Alternative Care Solutions’ product line, which was formed to provide workflow, billing and reimbursement support for home infusion, home medical equipment and home health agencies. Mediware provides electronic documentation solutions for inpatient rehabilitation, acute care rehab, outpatient rehabilitation and respiratory care facilities to hundreds of organizations. Intimate knowledge of these industries, experience with the nation’s top-rated organizations, medical technological expertise, clinicians on staff and years of intense research have contributed to the development of MediServe’s software solutions. In 2011, Spectrasoft, medical appointment scheduling specialists, joined long-time technology partner, MediServe. More than 5,000 hospitals and clinics rely on SpectraSoft’s medical scheduling software.
Mediware’s respiratory solution was developed in 1986 by the MediServe founder.
