This EHR Module (Inpatient) is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. MediLinks 2014, a Mediware Information Systems product, was certified on January 23, 2014 under certificate #0123014-2391-6. EHR Modular (Inpatient) certification included the following modules: (170.314.a.3);  (170.314.a.11);  (170.314.d.1); (170.314.d.2); (170.314.d.3);  (170.314.d.5); (170.314.d.6); (170.314.d.7); (170.314.d.8); (170.314.g.1); (170.314.g.4). Support for integration of this certified product-version with other ONC certified systems may require additional one-time costs and annual maintenance fees to purchase or may be licensed via subscription.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has developed the SOC 2 report based on the Trust Services Principles, Criteria, and Illustrations for Security, Availability, Privacy, Confidentially and Processing Integrity for service organizations. The SOC 2 report includes the AICPA’s predefined criteria for industry best practices regarding policies, procedures, and processes related to security, availability, confidentiality, privacy, and processing integrity for demonstrating a strong system of internal controls. It is a report by an independent accounting and auditing firm on management’s description of a service organization’s system and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
