About the Speaker
Carolyn Zollar is the Executive Vice President for Governmental Relations and Policy Development for the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association. Ms. Zollar has over twenty five years experience working in Washington D.C. in advocacy, legislation, drafting and implementing regulations, policy development, research, strategic planning, grassroots development, and assisting nonprofit organizations. She was formerly the Vice President for Policy and General Counsel for the American Rehabilitation Association, previously the National Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (NARF). She has been with the Association for over 13 years. She is also a co-chair of the National Rehabilitation Caucus, a coalition of over 50 rehabilitation professional, consumer and provider organizations. In her over 25 year experience in Washington she has worked for the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, as a consultant for the White House and was in private law practice for 7 years. She has worked with rehabilitation hospitals and units, outpatient rehabilitation facilities, other post acute care providers, nonprofit associations and corporations.
