IRFListServ Focuses on Interdisciplinary Support and Networking

Written by: Mediware on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 Posted in: Inpatient Rehab

This listserv was developed to allow a free forum for an interdisciplinary membership to coach and provide support to one another. The intent of this forum is NOT to replace professional assistance, advice or membership to any ONE professional organization.

As times change, the various intricasies behind any one profession will continue to develop very specific needs that will require membership with individual professional organizations. For that reason since 1982, I as a PT, have subscribed to APTA and will continue to do so for as long as I embrace my professional obligations of mentoring in the capacity of a physical therapist.

So again, I encourage all disciplines to join this national mentorship in the capacity of their unique professional organizations. When it comes to interdisciplinary collaboration in rehabilitation – let’s all JOIN this newest IRFListServ at Yahoo Groups so we can continue to encourage and assist one another as we have done for years in the past.

(Please note, joining the group may require you to create a yahoo member ID, however you will still be able to designate your preferred email address in order to participate in the discussions on this forum.)
