Hundreds of customers will convene in Orlando, Fla., September 14-16, 2016, for product training, educational presentations, and a vendor fair featuring dozens of Mediware’s partners.

Mediware customers serving patients and clients in the rehabilitation and respiratory, home care, specialty pharmacy, and health and human services markets will make up the more than 900 participants at the three-day event, located on the properties of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort and Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort.

“As Mediware continues to expand its offerings in the post-acute care and human services spaces, we see this as an excellent opportunity to provide our customers with the tools they need to care for their patients and consumers,” said T. Kelly Mann, Mediware president and chief executive officer. “The size of our event offers the opportunity to bring in exceptional healthcare speakers while, at the same time, educating our customers about our extensive product portfolio and giving them a deeper understanding of our strategy in this marketplace along with opportunities to speak in person with Mediware team members one-on-one,” said Mann.

Carol Raphael, a nationally recognized expert on healthcare policy for post-acute and long-term care, will deliver the keynote address. She will be speaking on “Reinventing Long-Term Care and Post-Acute care: Integrating into a New Healthcare System”. Ms. Raphael’s presentation will cover recent trends in the post-acute and long-term care environments, including changes in healthcare payment models, and how it will affect post-acute and long-term care providers.
