Oklahoma Department of Human Services Selects Mediware’s Waiver Management Software Solution for Home and Community-Based Services

Mediware’s Harmony solution enables the efficient management of HCBS waivers while helping to ensure DHS remains compliant with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Lenexa, KS, December 5, 2016 – Mediware Information Systems Inc., a leading supplier of software for human service organizations and healthcare providers, announced that the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) selected Mediware’s Harmony solution to help manage electronic case information for the 1915c statewide waiver for aging and adults with physical disabilities.

Mediware’s purpose-built Harmony software suite for home and community-based services (HCBS) will greatly simplify DHS’ ability to improve care to Oklahomans who are aging or disabled. It will also help ensure that the agency complies with all federal and state rules, regulations, laws, statutes, polices, and procedures, including those applicable to the specific Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services approved 1915(c) HCBS waiver for Oklahoma.
