LENEXA, KS, February 2, 2017 — On February 23 at the BMT Tandem Meetings 2017 in Orlando, FL, Dr. Miguel-Angel Perales will present “Immune Reconstitution after Stem Cell Transplant: Challenges and Opportunities” and will discuss the factors influencing immune recovery post allogeneic HCT, the clinical consequences of delayed immune recovery post allogeneic HCT, and the potential strategies to enhance immune recovery post allogeneic HCT.

Dr. Perales is the deputy chief of the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Service and the director of the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Fellowship Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is also an associate professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and a member of the board of directors of Be The Match, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).

Dr. Perales’s session is part of the popular “Share the Science” series sponsored by Mediware Information Systems, Inc. and Save the Cord Foundation.
