Industry Expert to Lead Market Expansion
Reston, VA – May 12, 2009 – Harmony Information Systems, Inc. (Harmony), the leader in integrated health and human services management, announced today that John Byer has accepted a new role on the executive management team as vice president of sales and business development. John is a human services veteran with an extensive background in aging programs and home- and community-based services initiatives. Byer will leverage his deep industry experience to lead Harmony’s sales efforts and expand the company’s strategic business partnerships.

With this promotion, John will broaden his sales leadership focus to include products designed for aging, adult protective services, and intellectual disabilities professionals.
“I am thrilled to have John join the Harmony management team. He was absolutely instrumental in establishing the company in the aging space, and I am certain he will replicate this success in new program areas such as adult protective services and intellectual disabilities,” said Joe Sander, president and CEO of Harmony. “I can think of no better person to lead our business development initiatives.”
