Expanding access to the CareTend software for improved patient tracking, delivery management, and user experience
Lenexa, KS, October 31, 2016 – Mediware Information Systems, Inc., a provider of comprehensive post-acute healthcare software, announces the release of CareTend Anywhere, its latest mobile software technology that allows users access to CareTend functionality from any location and device. This mobile technology adds flexibility for staff, who will be able to easily manage patient data, deliveries, and track information in real time.
Access CareTend from any location with CareTend Anywhere!
The CareTend Anywhere module can be accessed from a tablet or smart phone with Android, iOS and practically any other device with internet/web access. The mobile application supports Internet Explorer version 11, Google Chrome, and Safari. The technology has an added layer of security and customized user access so that mobile users are given permission only to the parts of the system to which they have access. In addition, changes made from the mobile version compared to the core application can be tracked.
The CareTend Anywhere module simplifies delivery management by identifying the shortest delivery routes for drivers with real-time map routing tools. Digital signatures can also be captured in the field with real-time confirmation so that staff at the home office can bill for services before the drivers ever return from their routes. Users in the field can also manage inventory transfers, access detailed patient information, add patient notes, and access equipment history and log information as well.
“CareTend Anywhere is our next-generation mobile technology that gives our customers increased flexibility in how they do their jobs every day,” says Paul O’Toole, vice president and general manager of the Home Care Solutions division of Mediware. “With access to the system from any location, users have the latest information available at their fingertips, which will improve workplace productivity, speed delivery times, and streamline patient monitoring,” added O’Toole.
