LENEXA, KS Sept. 16, 2008 – Mediware Information Systems, Inc. announced today that Central Jersey Blood Center (CJBC) has licensed the company’s LifeTrak® blood donor management software to fully realize the vision of having an integrated systems environment. The addition of LifeTrak will enable the blood center to more efficiently manage thousands of donor records, including the complex donor eligibility requirements that blood centers are required to calculate. LifeTrak will also serve as the core donor management system to effectively schedule, recruit and register donors for three fixed locations as well as CJBC’s significant number of mobile blood drives.
CJBC has been a long-time user of many of the Company’s other Blood Center Technologies, including RecruitTrak™, CoordinatorTrak™, CallTrak™ and OrderTrak™. These web-based products enable CJBC to effectively plan blood drives, recruit and retain donors, and streamline ordering and distribution for Blood Center customers. The addition of LifeTrak provides CJBC staff the advantage of having a common data environment across all their core systems to maximize efficiencies. Using the full suite ensures that CJBC staff are maximizing recruiting efforts through highly targeted awareness campaigns and that donor records are maintained in a secure environment.
“We are pleased to extend our IMS relationship through this additional commitment to Mediware’s Blood Center Technologies group,” said Mike Clark, chief executive officer at CJBC. “Our experience with this team has been one of top-notch service and leading edge product capabilities so we look forward to realizing the impact of fully integrated donor management systems.”
Mr. Clark continues: “As we focus on systems and services that improve our overall efficiency, adding a feature rich donor management system such as LifeTrak was the next logical step for us. In addition to improving our system capabilities, a major part of our selection was finding a company that shared our values on customer service excellence. In Mediware Blood Center Technologies we have a proven partner.”
Mediware’s Blood Center Technologies group provides blood centers the first integrated solution offering that spans from donor recruitment to distribution. As web based products, Mediware Blood Center Technologies offerings are flexibly offered individually or as an integrated platform.
