Presenter Bios

Anthony DeCarolis is a Solutions Consultant with Mediware Human and Social Services.  Prior to joining Mediware, Anthony spent his professional career working in various human services roles from care management and social work to nursing home and assisted living administration and also as a Masters-level Behavioral Health clinician. As the Solutions Consultant with Mediware, Anthony has spent five years meeting with State Agencies and Community-based Organizations across the country to help identify ways to leverage technology as a means to maximize resources and meet growing demand for services in a rapidly evolving LTSS environment.

Jim Sackett has been with the company since 2007 and is the Director of Product Management for Aging Solutions in Mediware’s Human and Social Services group. His responsibilities include product management of Mediware’s Social Assistance Management System (SAMS), Provider Direct, the Mediware Customer Portal, Mobile Assessments, the SAMS Application Program Interface (API), and SAMScan.  In addition, Jim’s team manages Mediware’s Government Reporting Solutions, including the NAPIS SRT, the Ombudsman Reporting Tool, CDA Reporter, and NYSOFA Reporter, as well as playing a lead role in product documentation and training development. Jim’s team recently assumed responsibility for product management of Mediware’s OmbudsManager solution. Prior to his current role, Jim was the Director of Customer Success Management and Education, where he oversaw the development of HSS’s highly effective Customer Success Manager  team. Jim strongly believes that HSS solutions play a critical role in helping our most vulnerable citizens lead safe, enriching and meaningful lives.
