Harmony was thrilled to participate in the Relay for Life in Herndon, VA this past weekend.  Relay for Life is an overnight relay-style event in which participants carry a baton as they walk around the track.  Relay for Life events are held throughout the world to help communities celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.

Harmony is excited to report that our team raised $6,500 and walked more than 125 miles in the fight against cancer.

The event celebrates the lives of cancer survivors with a Survivor and Caregiver walk to get the event started.  The photo below shows the start line captured by one of Harmony’s survivors at the beginning of the survivor lap.

At dark, the luminary candlelight ceremony celebrated cancer survivors and remembered those we lost.

And, we walked...

...and walked.

Thanks to everyone at Relay for Life for making this event happen.  The Harmony team was pleased to be a part of such a great event.
