BloodSafe's intelligent integration with HCLLTM Transfusion, also available from Mediware, allows blood bank staff to seamlessly move inventory from the blood bank to remote locations. So you have the same control and power you have inside the blood bank along with complete traceability of every movement and status including final disposition. This smart integration dramatically streamlines the workflow for a more efficient operation. Plus, it's proven to speed turnaround time, reduce costs and eliminate waste.
Once inventory is placed in the BloodSafe machine, authorized personnel simply scan their own as well as the patient's identification information, and the appropriate product is cross-matched and dispensed. The whole process takes less than 60 seconds. If any step is performed incorrectly, the machine won't dispense, so there's no opportunity for error.
