Mediware's Rehabilitation Division
Mediware's rehabilitation and respiratory division is backed by more than 25 years of experience and expertise. In December 2012, Mediware Information Systems, Inc., a provider of comprehensive healthcare IT software solutions, acquired MediServe. The rehabilitation unit still operates in Chandler, AZ. The merger will expand Mediware’s ‘Alternative Care Solutions’ product line, which was formed to provide workflow, billing and reimbursement support for home infusion, home medical equipment and home health agencies. MediServe provides electronic documentation solutions for inpatient rehabilitation, acute care rehab, outpatient rehabilitation and respiratory care facilities to hundreds of organizations. The products, MediLinks® for Inpatient, MediLinks for Outpatient, MediLinks for Acute and MediLinks for Respiratory, along with several other modules are in more than 250 facilities across the U.S. The intimate knowledge of these industries, experience with the nation’s top-rated organizations, medical technological expertise, clinicians on staff and years of intense research have contributed to the development of Mediware’s software solutions.
More Rehab Software Solutions
In 2011, Spectrasoft, medical appointment scheduling specialists, joined long-time technology partner, MediServe. More than 5,000 hospitals and clinics rely on SpectraSoft’s medical scheduling software, many of which are PT, OT or SLP clinics or hospital rehabilitation departments.
