Mediware has a proud legacy in blood banking and continually releases advanced technologies designed by seasoned blood bank specialists that improve efficiency and patient safety. Our ClosedLoop products for hospitals and stand alone blood centers manage blood and biologic materials from donor recruitment, through collection, testing, distribution, storage and transfusion. These robust solutions are used in more than 400 major institutions throughout the world combine to processes more than 50% of the US blood supply.

Our comprehensive electronic medication management platform is used in Behavioral Health, Treatment, Correctional and Acute Care facilities to improve medication safety throughout the continuum of care. Our ClosedLoop approach uses a single patient medication record, from medication reconciliation upon admission to physician ordering, pharmacy verification, nurse administration and discharge this strategy maximizes safety controls and efficiencies while minimizing duplication of effort and the potential for error.
