Bill Miller
Chief Executive Officer

Bill Miller was named Chief Executive Officer of Mediware in July 2017. Bill previously served as CEO of OptumInsight at Optum, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group — the largest health services company in the world. Under his direction, OptumInsight saw unprecedented growth, seeing its revenues expand from $1.5 billion to over $5 billion and driving tremendous growth in the payer, provider, life sciences, and analytics market places. Prior to joining OptumInsight, Bill was Vice President of Technologies at Cerner Corporation, where he oversaw the company’s technology businesses as well as its managed services, outsourcing, and advanced technology consulting practices. Bill is also a successful entrepreneur, serving as CEO of three technology companies he founded or co-founded in the 1990s. He earned a Master of Science in Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Kansas.


Robert Watkins
Chief Financial Officer

Robert Watkins, chief financial officer, joined the company in 2008 as corporate controller. Watkins was promoted to vice president and corporate controller in 2011 and to CFO in 2012. Prior to joining Mediware, he served in a number of financial management positions, most recently as corporate controller for Titan Machinery (TITN), a $1 billion provider of agricultural and construction equipment. During his tenure at Titan, he supported the organization through an IPO, follow-on offering and many acquisitions. Watkins’ prior experience also includes corporate controller positions at National Agriservices, Magnum Logistics and AFS Financial, where he also served as chief financial officer from 1989 to 1999. Mr. Watkins is a current member of the AICPA and Financial Executives International.


Robert C. Weber
Chief Legal Officer

Robert C. Weber, executive vice president, joined Mediware in January 2004. Mr. Weber oversees Mediware’s blood services, medication management, respiratory & rehabilitation, performance management and Advantage Reimbursement business groups. He also acts as the Company’s general counsel and oversees the Company’s legal and regulatory functions. Mr. Weber has held numerous different positions at Mediware before assuming his current responsibilities in January 2014. Prior to joining Mediware, Mr. Weber worked as a corporate counsel at Epic Systems Corporation and was a lawyer with both Jenner & Block and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Chicago. Mr. Weber earned a B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin with distinction and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Cum Laude where he was elected Order of the Coif.
